Cannabis has carved a niche as a healing remedy. The World Medical Cannabis Conference and Expo in Pittsburgh is a clear sign that this is one of the fastest growth industries.
Manufacturers of the cannabis plant and representatives of spinoff businesses from around the U.S. are in attendance at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center this weekend.
Raul Elizalde, of Monterey, Mexico, is also here. He says his 9-year old daughter suffered about 400 seizures a day until their family doctor recommended cannabis treatment with hemp. Now, he says his little girl only has about 20 seizures on her worst says.
“This changed my life, my daughter’s life, changed life for all the family,” Elizalde said.
