We provide allergen identification and desensitization treatment services to give our patients a better quality of life.

Allergies are a number of conditions and medical symptoms caused by increased hypersensitivity of the immune system in response to typically harmless substances in the environment. If you are hypersensitive to an allergen your immune system activates and flares up when you come in direct contact with that stimuli, your body will present signs of physical distress.

“So, why am I allergic to this?” Well, everyone’s body is different, and there is no clear answer as to why. But don’t feel singled out by the fates. In fact, allergies affect about 50 million people in the United States, with about 30% of all adults and over 40% of children being affected. There are so many types of allergens and allergic reactions that allergies account for the sixth leading cause of chronic illness in the United States.

But there is hope. Call our allergy testing doctors today at 888-316-9085 to discuss any questions or fill out the form on this page to request more information or schedule an appointment.

Symptoms and Conditions

Allergic reactions are responsible for many symptoms and often signal conditions such as hay fever, atopic dermatitis, allergic asthma, and anaphylaxis. Symptoms affecting the nose and nasal passageways include swelling or allergic rhinitis, runny nose, sneezing, and redness. Inflammation can also occur in the sinuses, called allergic sinusitis. Red, itchy, and watery eyes may occur, while other times there may be a feeling of fullness in the ear, impaired hearing or even a fever.  Food allergies can trigger the immune system to flare up in the gastrointestinal tract, causing abdominal pain, bloating, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Asthmatics are most easily affected by toxins in the air entering the lungs, but anyone can have a reaction in the airways such as coughing, bronchoconstriction, wheezing and dyspnea, asthma attacks, or laryngeal edema, irritants against the skin cause allergic dermatitis. This can take many forms including minor irritation, itching, redness, rashes, or hives (urticaria).

Allergy Testing & Immunotherapy Treatment

Diagnosis and Treatment

Many patients think they need a referral to an allergist to diagnose allergies. Visiting a specialist has many benefits, however they tend to have months-long waiting lists and require multiple appointments … and multiple skin pricks.

Compassionate Certification Centers sister company, Compassionate Care Medical Professionals can get you off the long-waiting lists and into the office before spring allergies hit their peak. We also offer once-monthly immunotherapy treatments to help desensitize the body to the stimuli, building a tolerance to the stimuli over time. Avoidance is not always possible, and daily allergy medications only stifle your immune reactivity, leaving it helpless to fight off viruses and other diseases.

About Our Allergy Test

Our allergy test is simple and non-invasive just a simple finger-prick test and 4 drops of blood. Your allergy doctor will discuss your results with you in full detail regarding your immune systems reactivity to 120 different stimuli – including 71 environmental allergens, 49 food and inhalants, insects, latex, and penicillin. The report will disclose not only what you are allergic to, but how severe of a reaction you are likely to have. This information can be lifesaving!

Immunotherapy Treatment

The best part is how easy Compassionate Care Medical Professionals makes allergy testing and treatment process. The desensitization process involves monthly single-dose treatment, done right in the office. Immunotherapy does so much more than just treat your reactivity; it also allows your immune system to retain its strength until needed to fight off much more harmful infections and bacteria. The flat fee once a month dose is usually covered by insurance, with no hidden costs! This process of diagnosing and treating common allergies is non-cannabis related medical care, so yes, we do accept insurance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some common allergies your tests reveal?

Our tests commonly reveal allergies such as various foods, latex, medications, insect stings, environmental factors, and various stress-induced allergies.

How do I know I’m allergic to something?

Look out for symptoms in the nose such as nasal swelling, allergic rhinitis, runny nose, sneezing, or any redness. Also be aware of any inflammation in the sinuses, a feeling of fullness in the ear, or red, itchy, and watery eyes. When experiencing food allergies, these can cause discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract, causing abdominal pain, bloating, vomiting and diarrhea. Reactions can also occur in the skin, which can come in the form of itching, redness, rashes, or hives. Possibly one of the most dangerous allergic responses occur in the airways, which can include coughing, bronchoconstriction, wheezing, asthma attacks, and laryngeal edema.

How do the allergy tests work?

Our allergy tests are non-invasive and involve a single finger prick and four drops of blood. Your doctor will then discuss the results of the allergy test in full detail, including your immune system’s reactivity to 120 different stimuli, including 71 environmental allergens, and 49 foods, inhalants, insects, latex, and penicillin. This report will also detail how severe your reaction to each could be. Dietary results are given by our board-certified naturopath, Dr. Jennifer. The fee for this follow-up appointment is $95, as there is typically an in-depth conversation involving dietary allergies. This appointment can be made immediately following your allergy test results.

How can I be treated for my allergies?

Avoiding your allergens is not always possible, and daily allergy medications only hinder your immune system’s response to them. We at Compassionate Care Medical Professionals offer once-monthly immunotherapy treatments to help desensitize your body to the allergic stimuli, in turn building a tolerance to them over time. This also helps your immune system to remain strong to fight off other common viruses and bacteria.

Do you accept insurance for allergy immunotherapy treatment?

Yes; we accept most insurances for all non-cannabis related medical care. All the patient is responsible for is the standard co-pay.
