Dr. Bernard is board certified in Family Practice with a 32-year history of ER work, clinical medicine for the Army all over the United States and various worldwide positions, and a 12-year history of Urgicare. Dr. Bernard has an extensive military background, he was ranked as Colonel in the US Reserves and is currently retired. Dr. Bernard military awards include: Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal x2, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, NATO ISAF Medal, Reserve Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Reserve Component Overseas Training Medal Afghan Campaign Medal with one Combat Star, Army Achievement Award. Dr. Bernard is a member of Ame Assoc of Family Practice, Reserve Officers Assoc and Association of Military Surgeons, Society of Cannabis Clinicians, American Medical Marijuana Physicians Association and American College of CBD and Cannabis.
