Ben Droz is a federal government affairs profession, representing the voice for industrial hemp in Congress since 2008.
He has managed congressional advocacy and coalition outreach efforts, planned and coordinated Congressional lobby day fly-ins, congressional briefings, and social media campaigns, among other things.
As one of the nation’s leading experts on industrial hemp policy, Droz has been featured in Yahoo!, the Huffington Post, Living Social, and the award winning documentary, Bringing it Home. Droz has visited numerous hemp processing operations throughout the US, and has connections with longtime leaders in cannabis industries.
In addition to his advocacy work, Droz is a well known professional photographer in Washington, DC. He regularly photographs high profile events with Members of Congress, Diplomats, business leaders and philanthropists, and is sometimes referred to as a “man about town”. His photos are printed monthly in Washington Life Magazine, and in many other publications.
