DO, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Dr. Bryan Doner is the CEO and Co-Founder of Compassionate Certification Centers, a medical marijuana marketing and consulting company that offers the educational resources, guidance, and leadership, needed to service providers and patients in states where medical marijuana is legal, as well as states with pending legislation.
Dr. Doner received his undergraduate education at Denison University and completed a graduate program in Medical Sciences at the University of Massachusetts at Boston. He then completed his medical education at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, immediately followed by residency training in Emergency Medicine at Saint Vincent Health System (Erie, PA).
In addition to Emergency Medicine, Dr. Doner has undergone extensive, fellowship level training in both Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine, a Certified Hyperbaric & Wound Care Specialist (CHWS) by the American Board of Wound Healing, and a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association (FAPWCA).
Dr. Doner also serves as the President/CEO of D&P Medical Group, as well as the Medical Co-Director of the Wound & Hyperbaric Center, Medical Director of the Primary Stroke Center, and attending Emergency Physician at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital outside of Pittsburgh, PA.
He is a member of the American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine, American’s for Safe Access, and the Society of Cannabis Clinicians.
Dr. Doner currently practices clinically in multiple states, and has active medical licenses in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York. He is currently certified to attest for medical marijuana in New York, and soon Pennsylvania and Ohio. He has attended numerous symposiums and educational events regarding medical marijuana and research, oftentimes serving as a speaker or panel member. As an advocate for Medical Marijuana and as a clinical researcher, Dr. Doner is especially interested in future research within this industry.
Chief Operating Officer, Co-Founder & Volunteer
Melonie is a focus driven Entrepreneur and Executive with more than 30 years of success in the pharma, biotech, textiles, e-commerce, medical marijuana, and healthcare consulting industries. Leveraging high impact experience with import/export, patents, entrepreneurship, and international banking, she is a valuable asset to small startups willing to take a risk, healthcare, cannabis, and pharma companies seeking assistance with branding, strategic and customized marketing, and organizational development. Her key areas of expertise include medical marijuana advocating, problem solving, growth, business development, process optimization, communications, staffing and recruiting, and team building.
Melonie Kotchey has extensive training in almost every business and patient-related field of Medical Cannabis. A chronic pain patient and cancer survivor, she is a partial owner of one of six licensed nurseries in Florida and has attended and spoken at many Medical Marijuana seminars throughout the country.
Melonie is COO and Co-Founder of Compassionate Certification Centers, the world’s first physician-owned medical marijuana or medical cannabis Certification Center Licensees for marketed to career seekers, investors, physicians, and health care practitioners. Her co-founded company is hosting the World Convention each year beginning in 2017 for Medical Marijuana in PA, alongside highly respected physicians. In addition, she is the Founder, President and CEO of Treasure Health LLC, a Medical Marijuana Health Care consulting firm. Treasure Health offers additional revenue streams to pharmacies, hospitals, and providers through innovate partnerships. The company now manages and oversee local and International business in a diverse market. a Previously, Melonie was President and Founder of STC, Inc., an ecommerce business. The basis of this business was to educate the public and find a cure for Marek’s disease. STC donated to many charitable foundations and worked closely with the Pennsylvania State University and Texas A&M Poultry Science Divisions. While at STC, she patented innovative heating equipment, and was responsible for building marketing, sales, PR, and logistics.
Additionally, Melonie was Regional Business Director at NeurogesX, Inc., where she was responsible for hiring, training and managing the #1 Sales Team and Area Account Manager in the U.S. Melonie received a B.S. In Biology – Pre-Medicine, a B.S. in Marketing, and pursued her M.B.A. in Health Care Administration. She attended the Allied School for Billing and Coding and is the President and Founder of Treasure Health, a Medical Marijuana Health Care consulting firm.
She volunteers for the Veterans organization “Any Soldier”, and the Children’s Pennsylvania E-Mentor Program. She is a member of the following professional organizations: Americans for Safe Access, Marijuana Policy Project, European Coalition for Just and Effective Drug Policies, and a junior member of the American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine. She was a Fundraiser for the American Lung Association and a Volunteer for PA Office of Attorney General, health. Melonie is Board Member, COO of D&P Medical Group. Melonie won the “Successful Women in Business Award” and the “Entrepreneur of the year” for Women’s Executive’s Board in 2015.

Dr. Keyur Patel received his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University and then completed his medical education at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Saint Vincent Health System (Erie, PA). In addition to Emergency Medicine, Dr. Patel has undergone extensive, fellowship level training in both Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and a Certified Hyperbaric & Wound Care Specialist (CHWS) by the American Board of Wound Healing. In addition to being the Vice-President/CMO of D&P Medical Group, Dr. Patel currently serves as Medical Co-Director of the Wound & Hyperbaric Center and attending Emergency Physician at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital outside of Pittsburgh, PA.
A minority nursery owner, Dr. Patel has attended Medical Marijuana webinars, seminars and cross functional educational meetings all over the USA. Dr. Patel is also licensed to prescribe in Ohio, and is a medical marijuana advocate, most interested in research and helping more patients. Keyur is a member of the following professional organizations: American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine, MAPS, and United For Care.

David Gribik offers accounting services in Gibsonia, PA. The business is owned and founded by David Gribik, a certified public accountant. The firm’s primary services include tax planning and preparation as well as consulting and advice on tax questions related to Medical Marijuana. He also offers financial advice and performs some legal work for businesses, individuals and non-profit organizations.

Valerie Sherman received her Associates degree in Applied Science, Communication Arts/Graphic Design. She is a true professional with more than 13 years of experience working in a multinational corporate environment as well as in the cannabis industry. A passion for creating concepts within the medical marijuana space, she excels in design, advertising, interactive marketing deployment all in a fast paced environment. Megan Sumner received her A.S. in Medical Billing and Coding from Herzing University and has a gift for working with patients. She was born and raised in Florida, where she and her family currently resides. She has experience working with a national pharmacy and working with a wide variety of patients in a busy internal medicine practice. Megan has years of experience being passionate and patient-focused. She has excelled in the healthcare field, offering her expertise in providing excellent customer service and patient care. As the Principal at Proven Media located in Carefree, Arizona, Kim Prince specializes in strategic media planning, public relations and marketing communications for mid to large size legal cannabis companies.
She currently serves as a co-chair to the Phoenix/Scottsdale Chapter of Women Grow. She was formerly on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization, Career Connectors, the Carefree/Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce, and the Foothills Community Foundation. She is the former membership chair of the Arizona Business Marketing Association.
Prince began her career when recruited directly from college to work as an Account Executive with New Times Newspaper/Village Voice Media. She went on to work as a media buyer for a major Japanese electronics manufacturing firm and moved up the ranks to become the Director of Marketing Communications. After leaving corporate, she successfully established and sold two successful businesses before establishing Proven Media in 2008.
Prince was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year and was the recipient of the Alliance All-Star Award from ASU West, Qwest and the Phoenix Business Journal. She has been panel moderator at cannabis conferences, and has been an invited speaker at marketing associations and colleges to teach marketing students how to maximize media exposure. She has a passion for helping clients to succeed.
Neko Catanzaro graduated with Honors from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and History. She has spent the past three years in the Public Relations industry specializing in customized communication plans for the legal cannabis industry.
Leveraging both traditional and online media, Neko develops strategic brand narratives and newsworthy content to increase client visibility across multiple channels as Vice President at Proven Media Services.
Neko excels at finding, writing, and pitching stories for the ever-changing media landscape. Passionate about the outdoors and always up for adventure, her extensive travels have taught her how to navigate tight deadlines, work independently, and take the lead on the fly.
National Sales Director
Ken Schultz is a product & nutrition expert with over 10 years of experience in personal nutrition, training, and coaching. He also has extensive experience in hemp-derived CBD and national conference sales development.
Ken has a B.S. in Marketing and Communications from Robert Morris University. He was the founder of Advocare in Pittsburgh and transitioned his coaching and personal training motivational skills into the cannabis industry. He was the sales development lead for the 2017 World Medical Cannabis Convention & Expo, which sold out and brought an overwhelming amount of awareness to the Pittsburgh, PA market.
Ken also works to assist Compassionate Certification Centers in all sales and logistics for our centers located in Pennsylvania to help our marijuana doctors prescribe patients with medical marijuana cards. He services all states in the USA.
Gina Vensel is an Events Professional and Marketing Consultant. As the Founder and CEO of Easy Street Promotions, she produces special events for national organizations and companies, and manages digital marketing and social media programs for a wide array of clients. She believes in designing memorable experiences for brands and organizations by taking a creative and integrated approach to marketing.
Gina is the Founder of LiveMusicPGH.com, a website dedicated to supporting and connecting local musicians with the community. She sits on the Board of Directors for IdeasPGH, a nonprofit dedicated to sharing innovative ideas and projects with the community. She also serves as the Marketing Lead for TEDxPittsburgh. Gina enjoys collaborating with partners that promote inclusiveness, social responsibility and eco-consciousness.
WHIRL Magazine selected Gina as a featured “Women in Business” awardee in 2016, and the same year she was nominated as “Entreprenuer of the Year” by Style Week Pittsburgh. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, she has a BA from the University of Pittsburgh in English Writing and Poetry.
Gina is the Events Producer for the 2018 World Medical Cannabis Conference and is eager to begin her journey in the cannabis industry.
