A ground-breaking documentary about women leading the cannabis industry, debuts in Portland, Oregon this month.
Grammy® Award-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge and other female “ganjaprenuers” show how legal cannabis is not only an industry, but also a movement of dedicated, pioneering “Puffragettes”.
Mary Jane’s: The Women of Weed is an independent film done by director Windy Borman, and has been acclaimed as “the most important cannabis film of our time” by Dope Magazine and the “#1 documentary of the year” by Celeb Stoner. Later this month, The Weed Blog, alongside Tokeativity and Soveda, will help kick off the 4/20 weekend and host the Portland Premiere of this film.
The premiere in Portland, Oregon will be on Wednesday, April 18th at Clinton Street Theater at 7:00pm. A pre-screening panel begins at 6:30pm. The film features a powerful interview from Grammy® Award-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge.
